Ice Bridge.
Ice Bridge connects the new ski facilities of Tarvisio to its city center, mingling and enhancing the relation between the two areas and facilitating the flow between the two.
How to transform a simple passage into a destination? How to create an active and dynamic design for both summer and winter?
The idea is to bring a function in a place that otherwise would only serve as a walk by, a suspended plaza between the city of Tarvisio and the ski slopes. In winter, taking advantage of the cold and humid temperature that the river below gathers, it becomes an ice skating rink. In summer, it turns into a unique spot for workout, yoga and meditation.
Iconic yet integrated in the natural environment, Ice Bridge is a place to slow down, to think and to get acquainted.
